a tisket, a tasket, a little picnic basket!
hi all, i've sorta had to neglect my blog for a few days, due to me having to get ready to move in to my new space on the 1st. i will share everything i have been painting with you after i move in- i kinda don't want the locals to see it on the web- i'd rather have everyone visit the store! but, i did decide to share this little picnic basket with you all- afterall, it's not fair to show you NOTHING! SO HERE SHE IS...i have had this awhile, i got it at a yard sale for $2! and i always knew i would paint the top of the basket
-it took going into business to motivate me tho'! i think i will put her in the store and see if she sells:) i used my fave- sea salt from sherwin williams, {of course} here are a few more pics of her...CHECK MY SIDEBAR FOR PARTIES I MAY LINK TO, also linking to fabulous friday's at saving money living life.

I pray that God will pour His favor on you as you begin your new business adventure. I'm a painter, too...if it doesn't move, I'll paint it. Your picnic basket is lovely, and your workmanship should keep it from being tucked away in a closet when not in use. I see an 'out in the open' future for this basket. Can you think of a way to use it as a centerpiece on one of your tablescapes? Thanks for sharing your charming basket. Cherry Kay
ReplyDeleteOh so pretty. I have painted for years and roses are a favorite of mine. I am sure your basket will sell in a heart beat.
