99 cent canvases to lovely wall art!

happy friday everyone,
i just had a wonderful birthday w/ family and friends. so blessed to have, family and friends that love me! i got to celebrate for 2 days, cuz i know how to work it!
anyway, i thought id' share these little canvases my sister bought at a thrift store, for 99 cents ea., i think- at any rate they were very cheap! they were already painted on but it was hideous. she commissioned me to paint them for my nieces room and gave me some pics of her darling sheets/ comforter set to draw from. so here they are in all their cutesie goodness!

i am linking to transformation thursday and show and tell friday...and the gypsy's corner
and tidy mom
and to flaunt it friday
and tatertots and jellosorry about the glare in these photos! but aren't they cute? if i do say so myself! the "A" is for anelise:) such a pretty name for a pretty girl!

  2. Those are so cute! I love how colorful and happy they are!

Regarding the plant markers - I just used old flatware I had. Lucky you to live so close to a Harbor Frieght! Oh, I did find spoons the easiest to do since you can flatten them before using the stamps. The hardest was knives!
